These listed here are the most common found in Inuyasha, I am not going to limit too much on races I do not want to see anything futuristic like Robots, androinds, cyborgs, or anything like that. I do not know why allot of people are fond of elven like beings, if you want one make a demon like elf, be creative.
Yōkai: (demon) belongs to a class of obake. They generally have some sort of spiritual or supernatural power. Some possess part animal and part human features.
Hanyō: (commonly translated as "half-demon") the offspring of a yōkai and a human. They are often outcasts of both human and yōkai society.Usually not as powerful as Yokai some still retain demonic abilities and power.
Obake: Many many kinds, describes undead, spirits, ghosts, and goblin like creatures.
Oni: the classic Japanese demon, an ogre-like creature which often has horns. Lesser or Common Demon.
Human: Most diverse of all species, some have spiritual powers, some have holy powers, some use tools or weapons for powers such as a staff, curse, or spell.
